Extending BusinessObjects XI Audit with APOS KPI *New whitepaper now available

KPI extends your auditing capabilities by creating extracted metadata about virtually all aspects of your system’s operational activity. Here's an excerpt from our new whitepaper Extending BusinessObjects XI Audit with APOS KPI:

The fundamental differences between BusinessObjects XI audit and APOS KPI are:

• BusinessObjects XI audit creates a log of specific actions that happen in the system, while . . .

• APOS KPI takes snapshots of system information - a complete detailed picture of system components and objects - at regular intervals - and posts them to a powerful database structure for subsequent analysis.

Complete system snapshots tell you much more, extending the BusinessObjects XI audit function to a completely different level!

Clearly, BusinessObjects XI audit is very useful as an actions logging tool. However, APOS KPI extends this to a more sophisticated level by providing a method to capture and store comprehensive system state information for subsequent historical analysis. Both are useful, but they have different objectives.

rescheduling scheduled reports

maintain server availability

centrally manage report prompting text
