Instance Monitor

Scheduled email notification of system-wide report processing failures.

Instance Monitor provides the administrator with the capability to monitor for failed instances and request automatic notification by email. The resulting email will provide extensive information about the failed report including who ran it, when it failed, the error message, parameters used, etc.

Instance Monitor is a server component that is able to query your system as frequently as you wish to check for any reports that failed since the last time it checked.

For example, your system administrators may wish to check for failed instances every 5 minutes and, if any are found, send a notification email to their email addresses. Or perhaps, send an email to an address that triggers a pager.

Instance Monitor supports SAP BusinessObjects XI, BusinessObjects EDGE, BusinessObjects Crystal Decisions, Crystal Reports Server and Crystal Enterprise!
